Lucian has advised clients in Romania, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and the Republic of Moldova.

Major Transactions & International Impact

A landmark engagement was his role in Ahold Delhaize’s €1.3 billion acquisition of Profi — the largest merger in Romanian retail history, combining approximately 2,700 stores and involving the highest number of relevant markets ever assessed by the Romanian Competition Council. Lucian co-led the Intuitive Economics team that provided the economic analysis underpinning the competitive assessment and the design of the remedy package. He has also contributed as an expert to international projects for the World Bank and the European Commission.

Lucian formerly taught Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Economics of Strategy, and Quantitative Research at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and the Entrepreneurship Academy.
